Manufacturing technique
Production of CNC Machined Nickel-Plated Parts, this is a process where precision processing and surface treatment technologies are deeply integrated. Each link is closely connected and the technical details are strictly controlled. The preparatory work at the beginning must be meticulous.
One needs to thoroughly understand the drawings, clearly understand the precision requirements like ±0.01mm and the specific coating standards, then select suitable base materials such as stainless steel and carbon steel. Through methods like spectral analysis, the material quality can be ensured to meet the standards. After material pre-treatment, programming is done using a five-axis linkage machining center. From rough machining to fine machining, the process is carried out step by step with precision. During this process, a real-time size monitoring system is used to ensure that each step meets the tolerance requirements. After completion, a three-dimensional measuring instrument is used for comprehensive testing. Only when there are no problems is the next step entered.
To ensure the quality of the coating, efforts must be made in the pre-treatment before nickel plating. First, use an 800W power ultrasonic cleaner for 15 minutes to remove oil stains, then use a 10% hydrochloric acid solution for acid washing to remove rust and activate the surface. After that, it is cleaned with three levels of pure water and finally dried in a 60℃ vacuum drying oven to ensure that there are no impurities on the surface of the parts. During nickel plating, an environmentally friendly and cyanide-free plating solution is used, and the concentration is adjusted according to the requirements. The parts are placed in a fully automatic hanging plating production line with a current density of 2-5A/dm² and an electroplating time of 30-40 minutes, allowing the 5-20μm coating to be evenly attached. After plating, it is immediately rinsed with pure water and then dried at a low temperature to avoid coating oxidation.
The final product inspection is also very strict. First, appearance is checked through a high-definition imaging system. Any flaws such as pinholes and bubbles are not allowed. The thickness of the coating is detected using an eddy current thickness gauge, the adhesion is evaluated through a grid test, and a 48-96-hour neutral salt spray test is conducted. Once all indicators are met, the parts are sealed in anti-static packaging. If any one item is a disqualification, it will be marked for rework or scrapped immediately. It is precisely through such interlocking and meticulous operations that the product maintains precise dimensions while having excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance.
