Production Process

CNC machining industrial dowel pin production starts with cold-drawn or ground bar stock. Bars are centerless ground to near-final diameter, cut to length, chamfered, and deburred. For hardened pins, they are then heat treated and finish-ground to the final tolerance — the two-stage grind is what keeps the finished pin perfectly round and straight.
