They select the appropriate materials (metals such as titanium alloys and non-metals such as PEEK), test their composition and performance, and then debug the CNC equipment, match the dedicated tooling, and enter the parameters.
Clamping and Processing: The material is secured in the equipment chuck and positioned using a probe (accuracy ±0.0003mm). Initial rough turning is performed, with high speeds to remove most of the stock (retaining a 0.1-0.3mm allowance for finishing). Finish turning is then performed using low speeds and low feeds to achieve the required accuracy and surface finish (roughness Ra 0.2μm). Complex parts require multi-axis machining to complete the complex process.
Special Processing and Inspection: Surface treatment (e.g., electroplating) and cleaning (for sterilization of medical parts) are performed as needed.
