2. Thread & Flare Standard Difference: General plumbing threads follow NPT water pipe standards, our power steering fittings adopt SAE inverted flare special thread, the flare cone angle is strictly 45°to match automotive power steering hose end forming; mismatched flare angles will cause permanent fluid seepage.

Identify the Component Ports: Determine if your power steering pump and steering rack use a female SAE Inverted Flare or a female Metric O-Ring port.

Thread the Adapter into the Component: Thread the correct Tuoyua Metal conversion fitting into the pump or steering box port by hand. Tighten to the recommended torque spec using a clean flare nut wrench.

Route the Hose Line: Connect your high-pressure -6 AN or -8 AN braided hydraulic hose to the male AN end of the newly installed adapter.

Final Torque Check: Seat the female hose end onto the 37-degree male flare. Secure the joint firmly. Avoid over-tightening brass components to preserve thread integrity.
